Invisalign® are the clear alternative to traditional orthodontic braces that are metal, use brackets, and prevent you from eating certain food. Invisalign® uses trays that are custom molded from your teeth to make the proper adjustments to your teeth. Invisalign® trays are removable and will usually take less time to align your teeth than braces.
Veneers might be the right option for teeth that are discolored, cracked, crooked, or have a gap in between teeth. Veneers are a thin porcelain or composite material shell that is firmly attached to the front of the tooth to give a classic shape. Your dentist will discuss veneers with you if this is a good solution for your teeth.
Crowns & Bridges
Bridges and crowns are prosthetic teeth that are cemented onto existing teeth or dental implants. Crowns are usually used to cover old teeth that are damaged or decayed, but are still salvageable. Dental crowns usually take about 2 dentist visits. The first visit to determine that you will need a crown and properly examine the tooth. The second one to replace the top of the tooth with the crown above the gum line.
A dental implant is a titanium device that replaces damaged beyond repair or missing teeth. The titanium implant bonds firmly to the jaw bone which gives a stable foundation to place teeth above the gum line. Dental implants have a 97% success rate and look and feel like your natural teeth. Dental implants also give a stable foundation for dentures.
